Girls' Night (Get the look)

I hosted a girls' night earlier this week and I think one of my favorite parts of the evening was putting together the tablescape. I thrifted (or borrowed from my mom's thrifted collection) everything I used for my table design, but I've pulled together some similar items to inspire you for your next event!

A vase of flowers and some crystal go a long way in elevating your table setting. Crystal is plentiful and easy to find at thrift stores, sometimes for as cheap as .99 a piece. The best way to distinguish crystal from mere cut glass is to give it a little tap. If it rings like a bell rather than emitting a dull clink, bingo! you've found a crystal treasure.

  1. I love these Villeroy and Roch Garden dishes. Linked here and here.
  2. This colorful French block print tablecloth. My exact tablecloth is this one from Kate Spade.
  3. Madeline pans for your showstopper. Recipe and tutorial here.
  4. I bought my scalloped napkins in Florence for €5 and I kind of regard them as the best find of that trip. Similar here and here.
  5. I thrifted a giant julep cup that I used as the vase for my roses, but I love the look of a champagne bucket for a centerpiece. Similar here and here.
  6. A pair of crystal candlesticks with white tapers make for the perfect addition to a floral arrangement. Nothing more is needed. Similar here.
  7. Whether you're not a drinker or you're doing dry January, a mocktail is a nice addition to a dinner menu. I love a fancy little drink and a premixed beverage like Tost is a great low effort option.
  8. And of course, you need a glass for that fancy drink and a water goblet to match. More links here and here.
  9. Last but not least, a cake stand for that showstopper Madeleine tower. This one from Estelle is charming.

I hope this inspired you to host an event, or at the very least, to do some thrifting and add to your own collection of dishes and linens!
