May Roundup
Happy May, lovely readers! I'm coming to you a little late this month as I haven't really been in a shopping mood! Most of my purchases this month have been practical items like shampoo (thrilling!) and gifts for friends and family (can't tell you about them yet!)
But there is a small list of items that I have purchased or had my eye on, and that's what I bring to you.
- The Blouse is the it item of the summer. Everyone needs one of these lightweight cotton or linen shells trimmed with lace or insertion. This pink one from J. Crew is a charming twist of color on the white ones that have flooded the market.
- I carry a wide tooth tortoise shell comb in my bag with me at all times. It's great for refreshing hairdos mid-day without tearing it to pieces and creating a lot of frizz or fluff. The scalloped edge on this one is so adorable.
- My most recent decaf selection! This is the third and final Methodical roast I've tried and I'm looking forward to tasting it!
- I have come close to buying this bag in person a couple of times and have only put off the purchase when I've remembered I have a very similar purse already. It's encrusted in rhinestones and just sparkles.
- The denim dress is another staple of this summer's wardrobe. I love this swingy one from Cider and it's available in a couple different washes.
- This hat is an actual buy--it's so cute. That's the review.
- I nearly bought this mug at Stoffer Home. The raised hydrangea detail is adorable.
- Finally, these ruffled slides from Target are adorable. I bought them but decided to return them as I'm trying to save for bigger purchases and projects and they actually didn't fill a gap in my wardrobe. Maybe next year!
