November Roundup

November is my birthday month, so it's a good time for wishlists! I've never been a big fan of November's inevitable association with brown and yellow--until this year. This roundup is an ode to my favorite colors and combos at the moment, buttery yellow, chocolatey brown, soft blues and pops of vivid red and green. They're the colors of the season!

1. First and foremost, a moment for this lacy number from & Other Stories. I saw this in Paris and was agog. Unfortunately, it's since sold out in my size, but you might still be able to snag it.

2. A little sweet treat: this box of saltwater taffy is so pleasing to the eye. It would make a great hostess gift!

3. I've been on the hunt for a locket and this antique gold, diamond, and enamel one is saved to my Etsy favorites!

4. I've been on the hunt for a set of these silver plated coupes for a while and recently took the plunge ahead of a dinner party. Mine were simpler and shorter, but if money were no object, I would have gotten these.

5. These suede ballet flats from Madewell are simply it.

6. I've also been on the hunt for a jewelry box, and while I think I'm going for something larger and more conventional, this trinket box made of alabaster is the perfect marriage between my love for stone boxes and seashells.

7. Lately I've also become quite the collector of lampshades. I hate the look of colored light bulbs, but a colorful lampshade can have a similar cozy effect. Why do you think Ralph Lauren uses them at Christmas?

8. I took a baking class in Paris and ever since I've felt the need to get my hands on a box of chocolate batons for pain au chocolat. They're mostly available in large quantities, but I'd use 270 batons eventually, right?

9. I'm always on the lookout for a pretty new cup to obsess over. How lovely is this discontinued Limoges design?

10. Finally, a plug for one of my own items: A very useful one to have ahead of holiday meal planning.
