September Roundup
After a summer hiatus, I have returned with more goodies. Lately, I've been finding a number of vintage items I like, so I've included a number here!
- Added this En Saison dress to my wardrobe recently as a transition outfit for summer to fall. The open neck and sleeveless look paired with the warm plum is so pretty and elegant.
- Some vintage watches caught my eye at a flea market in NYC in July, and I've since invested in one. I love this style.
- After covering beaded bags in a fashion roundup, I became determined to own one of these antique steel beaded purses from the 1910s and 1920s. They are simply beautiful and come in a variety of designs.
- These fruit candles bring the perfect touch of whimsy to birthday cakes, even the simplest ones.
- I sampled these BonBon gummy fish in NYC (clearly my trip was a watershed moment in my recent tastes) and found they're carried at Anthropologie. The elderflower flavor is so pleasant but unusual for a gummy candy, but I really like them. The blackberry flavor is also delicious.
- These sugar scrubs from Fox Naturals are my new favorite small luxury.
- I recently found a bottle of the Laundress at Marshall's and decided to give it a try.
- I also traveled to Maine recently, and while shopping in Portland at Mimi et Blanche, first came across these Trudon Wax Cameos. I think they're adorable.
- The final vintage item in this roundup is a hair comb. I've been wanting to add one to my collection of hair accessories and I found one very similar to this, but with pearls, at a local antiques mall. I can't wait to style my hair with it.
Happy Fall!
